Treatment FAQs
You should arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your booking. This gives us a chance to familiarise you (if you haven’t been before) with our salon, and if you have kids at the centre, get them settled ahead of your start time.
Child minding is complimentary when you are experiencing a treatment in our salon. You will still have to pay for your little one to play in the centre, but there is no additional charge for our minders supervising during your “me time” session. We ask that before you attend for your treatment, you download and register with HiMama! (available on both iTunes and Google Play). This allows you to check in your little one(s) with us on arrival each time you visit the salon, and for us to shoot you through some great pics of them playing, while you indeed, relax!
@Beauty by Relax and Play absolutely anyone can enjoy our services. While we have been designed to enable us to cater to families, once upstairs the environment is serene and tranquil, and can easily be accessed by anyone, for any treatment.
We do have a cancellation policy which is set out in our Fresha booking account. In summary, you can cancel up to 24 hours prior to your treatment without any cost to you (just do so online, where you booked). We understand things can come up last minute too, but we do charge a nominal booking fee for last minute cancellations.
We do have consultation forms which we require you to complete prior to bookings for waxing, lash extensions (or tinting), massage and skincare/facials. If you book in for one of these treatments, you will be sent a link (and reminder) to complete the relevant form and return it to us prior to your treatment. If you fail to do so, we take no responsibility (and you release and discharge Relax and Play from any claim, cost or expense) for any matters that may arise or any adverse effect or reaction you may have to a treatment, on the basis that we cannot provide appropriate care without understanding from you any pre-existing issues that may affect you on the day (or post-treatment). It is your responsibility to advise your technician of any pre-existing issues which may impact on your treatment (or any reaction to a treatment you have selected). If you have lash extensions with us, you will need to care for those extensions in the manner set out on the Lashes and Brows page.
