Party and Event FAQ's

Yes.  The minimum spend, is just that – the minimum amount you have agreed to spend with us during your party or event.  Ordinarily you will pay 50% of the minimum spend at the time of booking, and the balance 10 days prior to your event.  On the day of your party, we will run a ‘tab’ of items you spend (this will include entry for kids; meals; drinks; beauty treatments (if any), theming package, socks etc). If at the end of the event your tab is less than the “minimum spend” you will be charged nothing further on the day (as the minimum spend will have been pre-paid).  If your tab comes to more than the “minimum spend” then we will simply charge you the additional amount on the day. 

Absolutely there is!  As part of your minimum spend (ie the cost of these items will be part of your party tab) you will be charged entry for each of the kids that attend the party (at the price that corresponds with the general entry cost for the age of the child).  We also charge (mandatorily) a theming charge, which allows us to ensure table cloths, napkins, plates and cups match the theme of your choice for your little one.  Our theming cost is $10 p/p.

Your exclusive use of the domes you have booked for your party runs for 1 hour and 45 minutes.  If we do not have a private event before or after you, you are more than welcome to stay and play afterwards, we will just need you and your guests to leave the dome you have booked at the end of the party time.  We find some of our guests book a longer party (or two sessions) with us to secure a longer period. We are happy to discuss this with you.

We ask that you pre-order your party food from our menu, which allows our chef’s to prepare it nice and fresh, and to time it well for you on the day.  Please keep in mind we do also operate a restaurant, so if you have extra orders on the day, we will of course accommodate you, but there may be a small wait for those guests receiving their meals.

Because we quite often are booked solid for parties on weekends, we would love it if you dropped off any decorations early to us, so our friendly staff can help you to get ready and set your dome(s) for you ahead of your arrival (at the actual party time).  If you do have some items to bring along, please let us know in advance, and we will work with you and your suppliers as best as possible, but bump in time for each event is 15 minutes only.

We have lots of wonderful entertainers, balloon twisters and other special guests we can recommend for you on the day.  Given much of our equipment is white though, we do not allow face painting at the venue.

Of course you can. We just have a small cakeage fee for you on the day.

We recommend you use our preferred supplier, Oh So Charming to help you with balloon garlands and event decorations. Oh So Charming are on site with us, and are skilled at meeting our bump in/bump out times and delivering an amazing event for you!
